The 2011 Midnight Sun InterTribal Powwow will be celebrated in Fairbanks this Friday, July 8th through Sunday, July 10th. The Midnight Sun InterTribal Powwow is a celebration of life Powwow-style. It is also a time to share similarities and diversities, to honor the elders and
children, and to educate the general public of the heritage of the
indigenous people of North America.

Natives, American Indians, First Nations People of Canada and people of all races will be gathering outdoors behind the Carlson Center starting Friday at 6 p.m. The full weekend schedule is:
Friday, July 8th: 6pm - 12am
Saturday, July 9th: 12pm - 12am
Sunday, July 10th: 12am - 5pm
