Unguided Tours

Arrangements can be made with tour providers who will provide the means to take part in the activity, in the case of a canoe rental or a boat transport to a fishing stream, but you are on your own for the activity with no assistance or guidance.

Self-guided
In the case of a waterfowl or wildlife refuge or sanctuary, often there are well-marked trails with trail maps and/or interpretive signage for the benefit of the visitor. They are generally easily accessible for all ages and not lengthy hikes.

Outfitted
You will be provided what you need, whether it be clothing, camping supplies, canoes, cold weather gear, or bikes so that you can participate in the activity. Often referred to as gear rental.

Fly-in or Fly-out
Visitors travel by small aircraft generally for fishing or hunting and are dropped off at a remote lodge, lake, hunting cabin and picked up at an agreed time. It may be for a day or overnight or more.

Audio Guide
Enjoy a museum or walking tour with a portable audio guide. It brings the experience alive with sound, where you can pick from different segments which complement but don?t duplicate the locations or displays.
